Surat at-Takaathur · Competition

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 1

   أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ ۝١ayah 1

   Abundance distracts you.

2. 2

   حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ ۝٢ayah 2

   Until you visit the graveyards.

3. 3

   كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۝٣ayah 3

   Indeed, you will know.

4. 4

   ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۝٤ayah 4

   Certainly, you will know.

5. 5

   كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ۝٥ayah 5

   If you knew with knowledge of certainty.

6. 6

   لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ ۝٦ayah 6

   You would see the Inferno.

7. 7

   ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ۝٧ayah 7

   Then you will see it with the eye of certainty.

8. 8

   ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ۝٨ayah 8

   Then, on that Day, you will be questioned about the Bliss.
