Can I display pictures in my house? Can I draw pictures of living things?
It is fine to display pictures (or photos) of living people when there is a group photo but it is best to avoid featuring only one person in a prominent position in a way that leads to veneration (such as a poster of a celebrity). Drawing pictures of living things is fine since the prohibition is on making 3-d sculptures of living things.
Is there virtue in reciting Surat ul-Kahf on Friday? What about listening to it?
Most scholars said it is virtuous to recite Surat ul-Kahf (chapter 18) on Friday. Friday begins on Thursday night after sunset and lasts until Friday before sunset, so it can be recited during that time period. Since the effort and function of someone who recites is different than one who listens, it probably doesn’t reap the same reward, but there is virtue in listening to the Qur’an so if someone is unable to recite it, then hopefully they will get a similar reward for listening to it.

Is it true that if a lot of people attend your funeral you go straight to Paradise?
No, the Prophet did not mean it literally when he said that if several people attend a funeral then their prayers for him will be answered. He was only encouraging people to attend and explaining that a large number of people praying for someone is usually an indication of their piety. However, no one besides Allah knows the true state of any person, regardless of whether they are held in esteem or looked down upon by others.
